ACROSPORT 2ND ESO

ACROSPORT RULES


  • GROUPS: 4 - 7 PEOPLE (MIXED, BOYS AND GIRLS)
    • All members need to take active part in the choreography:
      • you can be ACROBAT (get on top of structures)
      • you can be BASE (you hold other people on top of you)
      • you can be HELPER (you support on the sides, or the back and help the acrobat to climb up and down the structures.
  • YOU NEED A CONTEXT (A STORY YOU TELL)
  • MUSIC:  YOU NEED A 2´ SONG OR A MIX.
  • 10 STRUCTURES
    • 4 X 5 people
    • 3 X 4 people
    • 2 X 3 people
    • 1 X 2 people
  • TRANSITIONS:
    • GYMNASTIC SKILLS
    • DANCE
  • EXTRA MATERIAL
    • ROPES, BALLS, HOOPS...

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA


1 point. -  Number of structures (pyramids) 10  
2 p.       -  Creativity .
2.p        -  Posture alignement and corporal attitude .
2 p.       -  Stability and safety.
1,5 p     -  Transitions 

1 p        -  How you use extra material (hoola-hoops, skipping ropes, balls …)
0,5        -  Staging: (Dressing, make up, extra ).


DOCUMENT YOU HAVE TO PRESENT (50% OF THEORETICAL MARK)

-          ISSUES TO COVER:

o                                  o   COVER: Name of members of the group, GROUP (A,B,C,D,E,F) 
o   INTRODUCTION:
§  Tell the name of the song (also the singer) and why you have chosen your song and what you want to tell with your choreography
o   IMAGES:
§  Take pictures of your structures and paste them in the word document.
§  Follow the order you will do them in the choreography.
o   TRANSITIONS:
§  Describe the movements (gymnastic skills or dance step you do in between the structures).
·         Say what every member of the group do.
·         (Remember it is compulsory to use EXTRA MATERIAL (ropes, hoops, balls) (The more difficult skills you do with the material and in the transitions the better.
o   CONCLUSION:
§  Write down about:
·         Difficulties you found in the process of creating your choreography.
§  Positive points that you found during this type of work (what you liked the most)
§  Utility or uselessness of this type of unit (give an educated argument).
§  What would you change or keep in this way to work.

YOU HAVE TO SEND THE DOCUMENT VIA E-MAIL (one week after the first day of ACROGYM EXAMS) to
